Sharon's Write
For these "Free Weekly Prompt" writes, I am doing just what I want you to do, go for a wild write. I take a good look at the prompt, I set a timer, and I write for at least ten minutes on my keyboard, longer if it's going well and I can spare the time. I will be doing minor typo/spell-checker corrections for clarity, but not editing in terms of changing any words (except typos… like if my old fingers slip and "they" is the word I meant but I missed the "y" and typed "the"). I will not rework sentences or structure or any editing of that type.
These are the kinds of raw, wild writes I get, after years of freewriting practice. Please do your first write from the prompt before you read mine. You will get so much more out of the whole process if you work from your own imagination before you get a glimpse into someone else's.
