About the Images on This Site

Almost every image on this site is either copyrighted by someone or licensed.The images are here, by arrangement with some special artists and galleries as well as from Wikimedia Commons and my own family photo library, to fit with themes on the site in a way that I am hoping will help to inspire your writing and thinking.

If you want to use any of these images in any other way, say to put on your website or print a fine, large copy of for your wall, or to use with an article you are hoping to sell or publish, you need to follow the picture link to the source, to see what is allowable or how to contact the artist.In many cases, the images are for sale and fine art prints or cards of the images can be ordered, while in others you might need to contact the artist or gallery directly or (in the case of Wiki Commons) conform to certain licensing terms or conditions, but all images that are not from my own family library are linked to a source that will help you figure it out.If the image link doesn't take you to another site, it probably means it's from my family library, so contact me if you want to use any of those images.
